Are you experiencing poor drive-ability or bad fuel economy with your bike?

A. If so, it’s probably because the ECU that came with the exhaust system was not set up properly

If you’re wondering what that means, here goes: When you purchase a Termignoni exhaust system you receive a ECU that needs to have the FUEL TRIM setting adjusted. Ducati dealers have a scan tool that will allow then to adjust the fuel trim, but the problem is the dealers don’t have a gas analyzer to check and see if the bike is running lean or rich. Obviously, this makes accurate adjustment very difficult (if not impossible).

Much like your local Ducati dealer, most independent shop’s don’t have either a gas analyzer or a scan tool to do the job right (which should be very scary to Ducati owners).

I know this because I have seen many bike’s come to me and when I check the FUEL TRIM it is either at zero which means no fuel or it is set at some extremely high number which makes the bike run rich. At Pro1cycle we use special software that allows us to change the FUEL TRIM, and also we use a 4 GAS ANALYZER that is factory recommended for most makes and models. 99% of the motorcycle shops in the GTA don’t have these tools because of the cost.

So, if you’re experiencing these problems with your Ducati, drop in and see us. We’ll have your bike running the way it should.
