Pro1Cycle was founded by Mauro Ulisse, one of Toronto’s best-known motorcycle mechanics. Mauro’s life-long love of motorcycles, racing, and customization is what inspired him to start Pro1Cycle, Inc.
Mauro’s family has a rich mechanical background. Mauro grew up with two older brothers, both of whom built their own high performance race cars. That started Mauro’s dream of becoming a mechanic one day. At age 12, Mauro began racing dirt bikes. By 21, Mauro had moved onto street bikes, and purchased his first Harley-Davidson Sportster. In 2003, Mauro started working at a local custom/repair motorcycle shop in the winter months. After 6 years, Mauro became a fully licensed motorcycle technician taught by some of the best the industry can offer. Mauro’s experience ranges from European to Japanese and American motorcycles, ATV, and off-road.
In 2007, Mauro’s customized 2001 Roadking Classic won numerous awards, including third place in the Canadian Biker Build-off (Touring Class) against 35 other contestants.
Why Mauro Founded Pro1Cycle
In Mauro’s own words:
I understand that you the customer are getting frustrated when you talk to someone about your concerns and they can’t give you a straight answer.
I understand the frustration of ordering parts or accessories and going back a week later to find out the wrong parts or accessories were ordered.
I knew that it was time for someone to step up and give riders a more professional and honest customer service that the repair industry in Toronto is lacking.
These are the reasons I decided to start Pro1Cycle, Inc.
